Mentor Trainer
Jim Boneau
Jim Boneau is a facilitator, teacher, speaker and coach who has a passion for igniting the development of leaders and other professionals who are committed to the development of others. Jim believes that authenticity, pushing edges, looking at the big picture and continuous self-learning are essential elements that leaders at all levels must model and cultivate in others.
Jim has continually lived these values in his 20 year career as a facilitator. In 2000, after achieving success in corporate America, Jim participated in his first VMC Hawaii Playshop. He was so inspired from that experience that he left corporate America to embark on a journey to find his own authentic voice. Year after year, from the role of mentor to consultant to now serving as designer of the mentor program and co-facilitating trainings with Arthur, Jim has learned that the learning from drum circle facilitation training goes far beyond his skills in a drum circle. Jim has now made a full circle back to corporate America, but now serving as a facilitator and coach. Drum circle facilitation is a tool Jim uses in this work.
Jim is a Senior Facilitator for Bluepoint Leadership Development. In that role, he facilitates leadership development workshops, coaches groups and individuals, and manages a team of facilitators. Jim’s client list includes Microsoft, GE, Seattle’s Best Coffee, Group Health Cooperative, REI and Masco. His passion for leadership development and his engaging facilitation style translate into dynamic, experiential learning opportunities. As a coach, Jim primarily works with clients focusing on business challenges, career goals, and aligning behaviors to values. In addition to working towards his coaching certification with the Hudson Institute, Jim has a Masters degree in Coaching and Consulting from Bastyr University.
