The UK Facilitation Community

The Drum Cricle Facilitator (DCF) has become a respected profession in the UK. One that is in demand in schools, community groups and organizations throughout England.
In 2008, Drum Circle Facilitators trained by Village Music Circles™ brought Rhythm events to over 120,000 kids in 1,467 schools throughout the UK!

In 1996 REMO began sponsoring Arthur Hull to lead annual Drum Circle events in schools and communities throughout the UK. The UK response to facilitated drum circles was profound. Dozens of students were inspired by Arthur and mentored to lead rhythm events in the UK.

These developing UK Facilitators traveled year after year to attend the annual Hawaii Playshop.  Here, they learned the process of becoming professional Drum Circle Facilitators and gained valuable community building experience.

In 2001 Arthur was invited to England to teach the first UK weekend Facilitators’ training. Today, the annual UK Drum Circle Facilitators’ Training draws regional Drum Circle Facilitators, both professional and fledgling to network, support and learn DCF skills from each other and from Arthur Hull.
